About this app

The Honeywell Total Connect Comfort app allows users to remotely monitor and manage their heating and cooling system – at anytime, from anywhere. Honeywell’s Total Connect Comfort works with Honeywell Wi-Fi Thermostats and with Prestige®, Prestige® IAQ, Wireless FocusPRO® and EConnect™ Comfort Systems when used in conjunction with Honeywell’s Internet Gateway.

With the Honeywell Total Connect Comfort app users can:

View and change the schedule (for thermostats that support this feature)
Utilize the Demo Mode before purchasing a thermostat
View and change heating and cooling system settings
View and set the indoor temperature
View and change system fan (for thermostats that support this feature)
View and change humidifier and dehumidifier settings (for thermostats that support this feature)
View 5-Day weather forecast
View outdoor temperature and humidity (when used with an outdoor sensor)
Access multiple smart thermostats
Access multiple locations if more than one system is registered
View thermostat alerts such as high or low temperature
Automatically upgrade to new features once they become available

The app has worked pretty well until the past week. I don't use too many advanced features, or have any routines/schedules set up, but for the past week I cannot access the app. I sign in, and all I get is a message that says"connecting" and the app never connects. Other users in my house are experiencing the same thing. Have un/reinstalled, and still the same issue. App is kind of pointless if I can't use it, but works well when I can get in. Is a 4-5 star app when it is working.

After using this app with the thermostat for over a year I appreciate the ability to control my thermostat remotely. The app is responsive about 80% of the time and I need to wait for about 20% of the time. When I am home the response is slower than I think it should be. The interface is satisfactory but could definetly be better. The recent outage for access is certainly concerning. The setup was a real challenge.

I keep getting a web service error when I open the app. I updated the app, still getting same error message. I ask Alexa to change the temperature, and Alexa works. Please fix the app. Later on, I received a message in the app that Total connect was aware that some customers were having issues, and they were working on the problem. I also received an email from Maria. The next day, the app worked. I have updated my post to 4 stars. I appreciate that Total Connect contacted me.
