How we’ll contact you
Using our app won’t affect how we contact you. Our emails will address you by your title and surname, and include the last four digits of your account number, or the last three digits of your postcode. Any text messages we send you will come from BANKOFSCOT. Be aware of any message that differs from this – it could be a scam.

Transaction confirmations don't work! If I try to make a card payment, the approval screen only appears if the app is NOT already open when I make the payment. And for this latest payment it's sending push messages asking me to confirm if the transaction is genuine, but the message leads... nowhere. And there's nowhere on the app to 'find' this screen either, so I'm stuck in a pointless loop where the transaction gets declined EVEN THO I've approved it (?!), and I can't confirm it to try again

Before today's update from BOS,I had to do a factory reset on my phone which seemed to fix the problem, however a similar sign in fault started to happen as once you had entered your security details the app returned you back to the sign in page. This happened quite a few times and another rest was in order to fix the problem. The app seems to be working alright now but from time to time it does not recognise my fingerprint, other than than the app is sound it's job. Thanks for fixing it.

This was a good app but now it won't go past the authentication of your device page, even if I leave it for over 30 minutes. Tried uninstalling and installing a few times but no joy, emailed the support and have not got a reply. I rely on mobile banking as I work abroad a lot. Looks like I will need to change banks to one I can get the app to work on.

Hi, we've now resolved the issue that has been preventing some of our customers from accessing our app. Please try updating your app, or reinstalling from Google Play store ~ Zahid

We’ve fixed some bugs and made performance improvements, to make our app even better for you.

We’re also working on new features that will be available in a later release.
