About this app

This app is for AT&T landline voicemail, not mobile phone voicemail. Make sure you have your AT&T home or office voicemail PIN prior to downloading this app.

The AT&T Voicemail Viewer app makes it easier to stay on top of your Voicemail or Unified Messaging voicemail messages directly from your Android device. Like looking at messages in your email inbox, Voicemail Viewer lists your messages, allowing you to choose the order in which you listen to them. The App may include a voicemail-to-text feature (VMTT) that provides automated transcription of your voicemail.

Residential landline phone service
VMTT is included with Voicemail Viewer for AT&T Phone
VMTT is included with Voicemail Viewer for traditional phone service with Voicemail or Unified Messaging
Business landline phone service
VMTT is included with Voicemail Viewer for AT&T Phone
VMTT is not available with Voicemail Viewer for traditional phone service with Voicemail or Unified Messaging

Voicemail Viewer does not work with all Android devices or all OS versions. For more information and help, AT&T residential customers may visit our AT&T Voicemail Viewer web site at att.com/vmviewer and business customers may visit um.att.com/vmviewer.

If you are having trouble signing into or using this app, please contact us at 800.288.2020 (Voicemail) or 888.300.6500 (Unified Messaging) and be prepared to provide:

Recently I started seeing message that said "server error" after several reinstalls I called ATT customer service and was told that the issue was most likely that the app no longer worked with my phone. I find this to be a backhanded way of forcing me to upgrade my phone. I have multiple accounts with AT&T and am to the point of moving all of them to another carrier. (Business land line & internet, 3 wireless phones & home internet TV and phone. )

As reported by Steve S. 3 days ago I am also not getting most voicemails. I thought it was just my own experience. The basic service of Prompt VM notifications is A MUST HAVE ! I will start searching 4 another land line/TVprovider for as this is NOT ACCEPTABLE! I do get "Server Error" notifications cuz emails are not sent. It can log in & SOMETIMES get a voicemail. In short: the app IS WORKING & communicating with AT&T. As an IT professional, this is evidently an AT&T issue & not a phone issue.

App no longer works on Android, not even on a new phone. Messages show up in app 2-3 days later. I still get an email right away, but the transcript is too garbled to be useful. The app does continue to work on an iPad, though, so apparently it's not entirely broken - just on Android.
