I used to use this app all the time. Within the last few months I can't use it and switch to other tasks without the app crashing. So for example if I want to do anything that involves logging in and verifying my login via text or email I have to go through chrome because if I just use the widget it crashes the second I switch tasks. Updates have not fixed the issue. After perusing reviews it appears this is an issue for many and Google has chosen to ignore it.

I'm so frustrated, angry, and ANNOYED! I distain the Voice Assistant BAR that NEVER GOES AWAY. It cuts off the bottom of the screen and I've spent waaay too much of my time trying to remove it. I searched for how to get rid of it, but all I found was more people with the exact same complaint. Idk how someone thought this was a good idea. "Hey Google" was great the way it was. Now that doesn't work. PLEASE remove and fix these things.

Google Lens is fantastic! Its translation feature is a game-changer, easily reading foreign text on documents. This is incredibly helpful when encountering unfamiliar languages. The text extraction capability is equally valuable, allowing me to quickly pull text from handwritten notes. This saves time on transcription and makes information gathering efficient. As a long-time Pixel user, I've seen Google Lens evolve impressively. These features make it an indispensable tool in my daily life.
