Please don't kill this one Google. This happens to be a nicely intuitive note-taking app with a 👍 search feature. Picture notes are a major plus. Keep can be used as a bookmark system, too. Share interesting URLs to it for reading later. Get notifications, easily set within Keep, so you don't forget. I use Keep to manage my various lists, such as groceries, and believe it or not I've actually had limited success getting Google Assistant to manipulate my grocery list in Keep. 🙂

Checking things off is horrible. You should be able to tap the line anywhere and have it check it off. Nope. If you don't hit the little check box then it puts you in text edit mode for that line and you can't exit it until you back out of the list and go back in. We only add items to the list from the Google home speaker, and do not manually type in the list ever. Gemini says there's a feature called read only mode, or locked, but those options are no where to be found.

Excellent app but is missing key features that in my opinion are a no-brainer. For example there is no ability to lock the app or a specific note with biometrics. Additionally, the app could use more customization options, i.e. a richer deeper color pallette beyond the pastels. Finally, a widget that is designed to look like a white board with sticky notes would be cool (for a little messy organized chaos). I love the app and would just love to see those enhancements.
