Ratings and reviews

When Fi3 came around with the subscription model it was supposed to include hardware upgrades. They had raised the price, where the earlier models you bought the device and paid for the service, for a time, a reduced rate. So they have an actual upgrade which they claim faster seek times, a serious need, they have pulled the free hardware upgrades, right after my subscription reupped. And battery life went from months to maybe 2 weeks. The Apple move. Planned obsolescence. Screw us.

Tracking works great but seriously, I don't need 275 notifications a day THAT I CAN'T DISABLE telling me that it's tracking my dog. Nice try Fi. I'm not talking in circles with a service rep. literally all notifications are turned off except for battery, signal loss and search party rinder. I get "Fi is active and monitoring [my dog]" I can dismiss it but it comes back LITERALLY in less than a minute. It is non stop and infuriating. Fix it or I will not be renewing my service.

overall, the app works wonderful. my only issue is that I keep getting notifications from my phone that this app is using very high battery usage. however, when I check the warning, it says zero battery used since last charge. I know that's not accurate because I take my dog with me everyday and I get a lot of alerts, not that I'm complaining. but I can't tell if this is what draining the battery on my new phone or not. The Galaxy says it is but the app report doesn't.
