My biggest grip is that it doesnt date your password creation & changes & instead just adds it like a new login. My solution is to constantly add or update a NOTE with the date & any pertinant info, & delete obsolete. Many reviewers don't know how to use the features on this app..& Google should take the time to respond here. If it doesn't capture a login & password I create my own with the sites URL. YES you can create your own passwords. Also put site URL in notes & directly open no-app sites.

horrible. between having to wait to use passkeys and deleting a key is confusing. but when I only use one browser and use only dark backgrounds, it is very suspicious when a light background shows up and then allows all passwords passkeys and even asks to plug in a fido key when one never exists. then having my financial passcodes always available? I can not purchase anything due to stolen credentials. thanks Google play store.

Google password manager is one of the worst when it comes to security. by default it doesn't encrypt your passwords at all and wants you to opt in to the most basic security measure, and it doesn't give any options to lock your passwords with anything other than your screen lock. it is also lacking in other features that a lot of other password managers have, like TOTP and saving stuff that isn't a password.
