What’s online banking without a mobile app?

With the AIB Mobile on your phone you have access to:

- Share your IBAN & account details

To use the app you need to be registered for AIB Phone and Internet Banking.

The app needs the following permissions to work on your phone:
- Identity/Contacts – we need the device name so you can unregister (ie. remotely wipe the app) from AIB Internet or Tablet Banking
- Phone - so you can call our help or product numbers directly from the app
- Device ID & call information - to read phone status and identity
- Calendar - so you can add reminders to your calendar when serving notice on Online Notice Deposit savings accounts
- Camera and Microphone Permission - A video call with an agent is required to verify a customer's identity along with their identity documents. 3DS authentication often doesnt appear - 8 times out of 10 it doesnt appear leaving me in limbo trying to complete my online purchase. When it does appear, it doesnt always work either so I'm not sure if payment has been taken or not. Logging in is a continuous issue, security check complete, but its not, then it tells me to update app, which i do, but that doesnt fix the issue either. Very poor. Would score less than 1 if I could. No wonder customers in Ireland are jumping ship to Revolut!!

I haven't had the issues logging in that others have had but whenever I am making an online purchase the notification will ping but disappear almost immediately. This isn't me dismissing it mistakenly or something. If I watch the screen I will see the notification pop up with confirm or deny and then it just disappears. It's not in my system notification tray and not visible when I enter the app. This forces me to cancel the order I'm making and try again. Very frustrating.

constant issues with the app. Options such as moving money from one account to another are missing. Called the customer service and they're saying I'm doing something wrong. Well, I'm not - the app is not great! I had the option 2 days ago, now it's completely gone. I need to transfer some money urgently from one account to another and AGAIN I'm missing some options and can't acess my savings. Super dissapointing! Moving to N26 IMMEDIATELY!!!
