2nd review - I dropped a star because two years have passed and you still can't pay thru the app. Going thru my bank, payments take days to post and it a pain in the keyster. The app itself works well except for the above issue. 1st review-App works well. The only thing I would like added is a payment option built in the app instead of going to my banking app as well.

Capital One Canada has very poor customer service and practices. It's 2025 and they refuse to offer mobile payments (Apple, Google and Samsung pay). Yet, they think it's OK to change me $59 a year and high interest, and NOT offer any rewards or cashback. They have recently updated their app and you can't apply for a increase anymore. Capital One is behind the times, and new customers are NOT charged the useless annual fee. Capital One treats new customers better, and I would not recommend them.

the app is kinda okay, but the fact that it only displays some info but there are no real time updates to this app, when you make payments it takes 3 business days to receive. that's the only issue I have but thats also what I want to see on the app, so it's basically useless since you can't really pay directly, you have to go through your financial institution. really it just displays how much you spent and you'll have to calculate it yourself to ensure you don't go over balance.
