Ratings and reviews

Could be a lot easier to use. E.g drag and drop for moving devices between groups etc rather than hunting through the app to figure things out that aren't done often. Alexa responses are mostly just googled answers - not very AI. App keeps freezing when in a list after unlocking phone. Most of the good reviews are for the associated hardware rather than the phone app itself.

A guest on my account keeps asking Alexa to run programs that start a Britbox subscription. I have no voice purchases set in the Alexa app and a purchase PIN set. So far six times! The last two times I contacted 'Help'. The first time I came away with the impression it won't happen again. It did. I was just promised the same again. I only want Prime programs and programs from any TV channel app I load. I should be able to control what a guest can spend using my account. Alexa is a theft tool.

The app's ratings continue to surprise me, especially considering the lengthy 1-2 minute wait to access any sub-menus, which is a true test of patience. However, the exceptional audio quality of the Amazon Echo is the sole redeeming feature that compels me to install this otherwise frustrating application. It feels rather cluttered and inefficient. It seems the developers are quite proud of their work and show little interest in improving the app's performance.
