As with most other reviews I'm reading recently, there is a severe problem with just listening to a song. Clicking on an artist, album, song, playlist, etc, will take minutes to start playback. The higher quality of audio and the inclusion of Dolby Atmos has kept me using Amazon Music for a bit. EDIT: I turned off Alexa in the app,and that seems to have fixed the problem. The moment i switch it off, music loads right up. This is unfortunate as Alexa is a nice feature to have, but not lately.

I wish they would bring back the alphabet scroll pop up on the right side so when I scroll through songs, I can jump to a certain letter instead of scrolling through 1400+ songs. When I want to listen to a song that starts with T, I have to keep scrolling and scrolling to get to it. Also, the default sort in the songs library changed to newest to oldest instead of alphabetical by title. Is there a way to allow us to set our own default? The filter resets itself. Other than that, I love it.

Amazon, did you probe my mind for my favorite songs? I mean, thank you, but still, kinda creepy. Other than that, still is not the greatest streaming service around. If you want good free music, SoundCloud is your best bet. If paid music is your thing, good luck. It's a competition between Pandora, Spotify, and this app. All three of them suck in some shape or form.
