Ratings and reviews

Crashed right after accepting the terms, allowing access to phone storage. I mean, the website on browser is already really slow and look outdated for 20years. Now the app is not even functional. I have their previous app. I really don't understand why they decided to create a whole new app instead of updating the old app. My credentials were saved in previous app and this can be inconvenient for people that are oversea where they do not have access to a branch to reset their password.

Cannot open the updated app with Android 12 (Pixel 5a). I ended up updating the app on my old phone (Android 6 in an Honor 8 phone). But instructions to reset mobile token are confusing. Tried it for more than an hour with multiple attempts to finally make it work. Downloading speed is not ideal, but I just assume it's because I tried to log in from overseas. Have much room for improvement.

This new app (27 March 2024) crashes on startup giving error Code 50. It states something to do with security of my device but within being specific. But it does make me wonder if this is really the case as the Google App scanner has not reported security problems on my device. So I can't use this payment App anymore. The previous version prior to update had no such issues. I have uses this App for the past 3 years, and it seems that each update brings it's own problems and challenges !!

What's new

- "Mobile Cheque Deposit" service lets you deposit a BOCHK cheque by taking a cheque image with your mobile phone anytime and anywhere.
- New "Open Account" function allows mainland visitors who are physically located in Hong Kong to open account easily via mobile app, without visiting the branch.
