Absolutely terrible experience. Appliances disappear from the app and are nearly impossible to restore. The device itself is on the network, I can see it registered to my 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi. Then to make things more frustrating the app is loaded with unrelated content to try and get you to buy more appliances and or services. And then they fill the remaining void with lifestyle articles. All this extra junk when all you really need is the app to control the air conditioner.

App is extremely slow and doesn't give notifications on time. if I have it set to tell me about my washer and dryer it won't tell me when it's done on time. Only when I unlock my phone to use it will I get a barrage of notifications. Response edit: Signed out, uninstalled and reinstalled and yeah that didn't fix anything. Btw it's not just me with this issue. Fix your app

Please try the following steps: Open the app. Tap the three horizontal lines on the top left of the app - you will see a Sign Out option at the bottom. Sign out, delete the app. Redownload the app and sign in. If the issue is not resolved please contact our support team at 1-800-220-6899 or email connected@help.geappliances.com - Jonathon@SmartHQ

Probably the slowest smart home app I have, out of a dozen. When I open it, I'm bombarded with notifications about "what's new!" and banners for other appliances and services. Gimme a break! I ALREADY bought your product, GE. Please let me manage and control it quickly instead of shoving ads in my face. Seriously, Midea's app is much better. Takes you straight to the management of all your appliances, and you can change settings quickly.
