I have tried to use the app with my GE refrigerator model CFE28USHFSS and it just doesn't work. I followed all the instructions to pair it with my phone. I managed to successfully connect the phone and the refrigerator through the app but, when I select to warm water for tea or any other beverage, I get a message stating that the water is ready but it isn't. I have to tap the screen on the fridge in order to get what I want. I have tried changing networks on my phone (5 GHz to 2 GHz) to no avail. It is useless... **Update 05/30/17** After getting a reply from the GE appliances people explaining to me how the app and the refrigerator work, I have managed to connect my A.I. assistant and the fridge. I can ask to warm water for coffee and it works!! Now I feel stupid for not reading the instructions thoroughly before my previous review. Thanks GE appliances people for your response! By the way, are you guys planning on adding a visible/active clock to the LCD screen? That would be very helpful if you could 😊😊😊 Thanks again!
I'm having to type in my model number every time that I've tried to connect to my refrigerator. This defeats the whole purpose of connecting wirelessly. Model P PFE28PSKGSS.
Can't get the refrigerator to connect. App is asking me to turn off a wifi setting that doesn't exist on my phone, and I can't continue making the app unusable.
Not happy, it asks for the model number everything I try to connect.
It worked perfectly initially, but the app keeps asking for the model number every time for the fridge, making it impossible to use conveniently. Its model number CFE28USHKSS
I was able to connect and interact with my appliances. But now the app keeps asking me to input the appliance model number whenever I need to use it

All Connected Ovens can now connect to Nest. Following is a description of the features:
1. If the Oven is on and a Nest Protect Emergency is activated, GE Appliances will send a command to the Oven to turn off. A push notification will also be sent to the Kitchen app.
2. If the Oven is on and a Nest Protect Away is detected, GE Appliances will send a push notification to the Kitchen app.
