App used to have a keyboard for command entry. It no longer does. I'm hearing impaired, so voice commands are problematic. I really would appreciate having the ability to type commands again. Also, because only voice commands, and my hearing issues, it rarely understands what I'm saying. *a year later and this is still an issue. seriously, a keyboard option for us with hearing issues. come on. 7-25-25

Two critical problems after being forced to migrate from the Nest app: 1) I cannot access or control the camera on my Nest Hub Max. It says live view unavailable. The camera may be unreachable. However, the hub is working fine, responding to commands normally. 2) I cannot find the connection or battery status of my Nest temperature sensor like I could in the Nest app. These are two basic features that were key selling points of the hardware. They should not get nerfed by updates! Frustrating!

Devices aren't able to communicate with each other properly anymore. Some devices show up as offline under the "devices" tab, but as soon as you select it, everything displays correctly and can be controlled in the app. However, because it can't be seen as online I can't use voice commands with my speaker to pause my TV with Chromecast anymore. Extremely frustrating and no fixes, including factory resetting everything has worked.
