About this app

The Google One app lets you automatically back up your phone and manage your Google cloud storage.
• Automatically back up the important things on your phone, like photos, contacts and messages using your free 15 GB of storage that comes with every Google account. If you break, lose or upgrade your phone, you can restore everything to your new Android device.
• Manage your existing Google account storage across Google Drive, Gmail and Google Photos.

Upgrade to a Google One membership to get even more:
• Get as much storage as you need for your important memories, projects and digital files. Choose the plan that works best for you.
• Get extra protection for your phone with a VPN that encrypts your online activity and helps keep your personal information safe
• Get exclusive access to Google experts for help with all of Google’s products and services. If you have a question or need assistance, our team of Google experts is just a tap away.
• Share your storage with up to 5 additional people. This gives each person access to more storage from your plan, but not access to each other’s files.

This app didn't fully restore my phone on 100% percent as I lost a half of data that wasn't really important to me anyways, however I got a solid recovery on what is important when I planned to do a factory reset due to password troubles being falsely incorrect. I also know it depends on the situation and device, so overall I'm happy. I have been well assisted with the text feature, and I believe i speak for all assistants when I say one was very kind and nice giving me the context I needed.

Constant improvement to a core offering. That's my one-liner. Here. I pay for obvious value I get from backups for my family and other festures that are now part of my normal routine because they work so well. The photo editing upgrade is worthwhile, as is the discount and other features. I'm strongly hoping Google holds the line on price, and continues to add quality features.

I was given the chance too try Google one & it really does have some great features! The problem is, in all the years I've used Google's apps ( Gmail, Google photos, ect.) Not once was I ever told that I was running out of space! At least not until I tried this App!! Now Google is telling me I'm out of space and even after cleaning up all the junk mail ect, it still says that I need too buy more space or data I don't know why now? It's sketchy because I've never had this problem before!

Hi, Shawna. The way you use Google Drive doesn’t change at all. You’ll continue to have your 15GB consumer storage across Drive, Gmail and original quality photos and videos in Google Photos. If you need more storage, you'll be able to upgrade to Google One for expanded storage and extra benefits. Does that help?
