Ratings and reviews

Google downgraded the app. Youtube Music has been excellent for a couple of years now. This most recent update created some new bugs. The application would not allow me to remove a song from a playlist any longer, so I thought I should just remove the download. Then, maybe it would work. Then, that playlist disappeared from my playlist on my device. It was still accessible through Chrome on my laptop, but the phone couldn't display it any longer. Terrible interface (but at least this is better than the PC version on a web browser). Navigation is slow and clunky and it can be hard to find your things at times as the options are not intuitive. I miss the podcast app already and still miss the old music app Google used to have. Lastly, I don't need the app begging me to upgrade every time I open the app. Never going to happen, so stop asking.

Overall I would say that YouTube music is a better experience than Spotify on Android. The suggestions are generally better for me and I like the design. A few nitpicks would be, one, that when opening and closing the comments tab on the song sometimes the animation is a bit janky and not super smooth. Secondly, not being able to see the date of music releases is frustrating. It seems like such a simple thing, so I'm hoping y'all can add this to the music info page.
