Hold for Me lets you go back to your day. If a business puts you on hold, Google Assistant can wait on the line for you and let you know when someone is ready to talk.

Call Screen answers unknown callers, filters out detected spammers without interrupting you, and helps you learn more about callers you don’t recognize before you pick up.

the app feels woefully incomplete and like whoever programmed it just couldn't be bothered. from the fact that its call history can only track one instance of being called by a specific number, to the fact that a number won't show up in your call history if you accidentally hit the wrong button and don't answer it. it all feels like it was made convenient for the person who made it at the cost of being inconvenient for the people stuck having to use it.

I am finding Google Calling to be a significant improvement over the standard calling system, particularly in managing spam calls. Previously, spam calls were still managing to get through to my voicemail even after I had canceled them, but that is no longer an issue! I especially appreciate the call identification feature when using headphones. I would recommend downloading it and giving it a try. The only enhancement I would suggest is a method for deleting call history.

I don't know what they did to these phones, but every time there's an update, something goes wrong with the phone. I used to could change my notifications by turning off notifications for certain functions or services, but lately I cannot change the setting. Every phone setting in my phone is turned on and I can't change it, only the voicemail setting I am able to change.

What’s new

And when it’s not a robocall, your phone rings a few moments later with helpful context about who is calling and why.
