I've always had some of the bad experiences some people here have mentioned. Like the person on the other line not being able to hear me for the first few seconds, and/or me not being able to hear them. Sometimes I have to take the phone away from my ear and hit the mute button and then unmute just so the other person can hear me. Worst is lately though... Sometimes the phone will show 3-5 bars, but will act like I've just dropped the signal. Can't get anything to work at all.

So, I understand that many people are undergoing the same issue, but I would REALLY like a fix to this ongoing problem I've had since the last update. Whenever I open my messages app, I keep getting warnings that messages aren't going to work properly unless I update this app. Oddly, when I check there is no clear update available. It's aggravating because it sometimes prevents me from texting for certain periods of time, even when I have excellent Internet. Please resolve this irritating issue.

Idk what Google did; this nonsense has been going on since mid-May. To everyone who's been having issues, here's a few things that help: Turn OFF Chat. It sucks, but that's the only way people will get your texts. An issue I've been experiencing is the Google verification stuff will not work on cellular data. I have to either connect to Wi-Fi, or go into the app settings, clear the storage/cache from CS app, & restart the phone, don't re-connect Wi-Fi. 500 letter limit. Hope this helps.
