Don't kiss Evernote's a**... This is better After Evernote lost some of my notes to the internet winds, I decided it was time to give one more piece of my trust to Google. Keep proved to be simple, efficient, stylish, handy, feature-laden, cheap, fast, and overall one of the best note taking apps I've found so far (and I've gone through a few). The problem with Evernote is it shoots for the moon and lands in the stratosphere. Google Keep, quite simply, does not have that problem. Thanks Google for perfecting what *should* be simple for any note app.
Very good but needs a little improvement to be perfect Should prevent accidental setting reminder in the past. Also more custom options of reminder in hour's time should make this app more user-friendly. Lastly, I'd like to second earlier comments in terms of viewing. In list view there should be an option to show only title and allow clicking-on to expand the item in full to make the list look tidy and easy to read and find things . Thanks.
Organisation of content/notes needs a bit of revision. It would be nice to side scroll (tab through labels/categories), like on the play store. Also, the ability to set icons for labels and/or individual notes would be appreciated. Can we please have the widgets be more material (rounded corners and such)? Also, can our pinned notes be shown as persistent notifications?
Very useful in ways you didn't think! Though very simple and easy to use, this note pad style app goes beyond the simple note pad when you discover it's broad capabilities. Attach photos and make lists that can be checked off and have reminders turned on for specific tasks are just a few examples. One thing I would love for them to add is to have PIN or password encrypted notes that allow users to hide sensitive information in a note that can't be viewed unless unlocked.
Quite Intuitive I have been using it for last 3days. It's seems it is so intuitive that you don't have to do anything it does what's in your mind. In the checker when one or more is checked it disappear to bottom which is quite wao. Liked the card and color concept which is keeping everything upfront. I have been using Evernote, but keep is supercool. I have messed Evernote account, but keep is still clean. Love the way it is. More edit for later.
Easy to use with a nice UI. It is perfect for my needs. Evernote used to be my primary but since they introduced the 2 device limit (I have a PC, tablet and smartphone) it is just not as viable for my daily usage. The fact that Google added some nice features such as tags makes it even better. For more complex notes OneNote is my goto but for simple stuff I need everyday this is the one I turn to on my devices. A+
