Ratings and reviews

It's a great app for streaming music. Also, for those having the issue of it suddenly stopping and you having to start it again, it's likely due to battery save mode on your phone messing with it. Just go to the app settings and configure it to not be affected, that'll help with that issue. Had me not using the app for a year because of it. As far as the app quality, it's good, just like other music streaming services. They have more of a selection than Spotify, and have good features. Love it.

The app has improved a lot over the years. It's my go-to music app now, and I dig the new features. The discovery thing is dope, especially when I'm not sure what to listen to. It's cool that your YouTube playlists sync with YouTube Music, so you can jam to your tunes on both apps. And the music/video toggle is sick, you can watch music videos right in the app. The sound quality is decent, but I wish they had lossless audio playback and 16/24-bit high fidelity audio streaming and download.

Google downgraded the app. Youtube Music has been excellent for a couple of years now. This most recent update created some new bugs. The application would not allow me to remove a song from a playlist any longer, so I thought I should just remove the download. Then, maybe it would work. Then, that playlist disappeared from my playlist on my device. It was still accessible through Chrome on my laptop, but the phone couldn't display it any longer.
