The effort it takes to find your Favorites playlist is absolutely ridiculous. With most cosmetic changes I could see the logic behind and have gotten used to. To have to go all the way to your own channel just to access your favorites is too much. Why would you separate it from the rest that can still be found through one's library?!
It's alright. Video recommendations are completely atrocious, no matter how many times I say I'm not interested in certain videos... But it's usable. Update: so I actually counted. It only takes five videos from one channel in succession to flood your suggestions.
The app itself is solid, I just run into technical flaws, such as videos being grayed out slightly, with a sliver on the top of the screen that isn't grayed when I view it full screen, and the app will not open, and I have to uninstall updates and reinstall them to get it to function
What is up with this new version? I have Youtube Red and everytime i try to listen to music with the background play, the background play doesn't work when i have the video downloaded. Please fix this issue.
It's a great app thats it. By the way if you say there are too many ads youre a idiot because thats the youtubers idea to put ads in their vids not youtubes.
Nothing but non-stop ADS. And, not even an option for Canada to subscribe to YouTube Red to remove them. I used to turn to YT for quick entertainment, but the ads drove me away almost entirely over a year ago. Just returned today to watch a quick video, and ADS ADS ADS ADS.
