Ratings and reviews

UX is so so so poor. it is genuinely PAINFUL to try and seek through a video now that it forces you to snap to different sections. And why is the UI so small? I need to be so precise to use it. Also, every time I do ANYTHING to the video, the video speed is reset to 1x speed. skip 10s? reset. change video? reset. seek? reset. I am genuinely impressed by the fact that this team manages to make the app WORSE with each update. bravo, guys! this is why I (+ others) will not be renewing my premium.

Forcing us to scroll up almost to the top of the page no matter how far down we've gone just to see the bottom nav buttons is not the way to keep folks on the home page. The nav buttons on the pic in pic don't work properly anymore. The videos go back to 1x when I skip an ad, so I have to reset it to my preferred speed every time (and sometimes there are ad breaks every 75 seconds). And the skip button takes longer to show up when an ad is skippable.

Update, Why does this app continually surprise me on how it seems to get worse over time. latest update has made the bottom bar(home and subscriptions buttons) dissappear randomly. I've got arthritis and have to swipe around all over the place just to get it back is really frustrating! I'm about ready to dump youtube because of this... wish there was an alternative. Never been a fan of this app, lacks an intuitive interface and as of recently this floating player we now have sucks.
