Beyond awful; frustrating to no end. Can't believe it has the google name yet functionality of a 3rd rate scam app. I'm paying a monthly fee to NOT stream my music. Constant calls to Support lead nowhere. If you just want to hear the music that Google thinks you want to hear then I suppose this is fine, but it absolutely does NOT function to play your own playlists. Shuffle never works: plays the same songs in the same order every time. Frequently fails to Cast whenever everything else can. Scam

Terrible. This is literally just a duplicate app of YouTube itself with a different homepage. Having that sidebar just ruins the existence of the app. Meaning, on Android TV and on Xbox, there will just be a duplicate app. Speaking of Xbox, once you get the Sidebar removed, please add YouTube Music to Xbox, so we can play games on our consoles while gaming, and playing in the background like Spotify and SoundCloud on the same platform are doing. If you won't make your own console, then adapt to the existing ones! I like the app itself, but with that sidebar, it's just a waste of storage.

Just Google being Google. It's pathetic. Just the Music section of the youtube app. Unlike with Spotify, you can't play music while doing anything else on the Chromecast, even playing the screensaver. Getting to your playlists takes 6 clicks and it's a confusing jumble of video playlists and music playlists. I just canceled Spotify but once my YT free trial is over, you can bet I'm going back.
