Hasn't been very good at steadying the phototaking, unless flash is on, but that uuuuusually "flash-floods" the photo.. meaning it ends up being too bright to accurately see, in detail, what it is that you're trying to take a picture of. And in my opinion, the app works best when it can see your picture in better detail, so as to further define what it's supposed to be helping you search. And neither trade-off does the trick very well, atm. But! New update for the first issue, so we'll see! 🤞🏻

Although it takes a little bit of effort, I really enjoy the fact that this gives me the ability to turn a regular book into an audiobook fairly quickly. Although something has changed in the last update that is made the AI voice sound a little more wooden and choppy. That being said, it's still the best software of its kind out there.

I regularly use this app when I want to identify an object. For example, with some wall art, I received wall hanging hardware that I wasn't familiar with. I started the Google Lens app and snapped a picture of one. Immediately the app showed me several purchasing options. I clicked on one at Amazon which showed me pictures of how to use the hardware. It's so much easier than trying to describe something in a search box.
