Instacart stole $50 and won't give it back. I ordered the exact same food from the exact same restaurant that I had ordered 39 times before. They sent the wrong order, which I reported immediately, and went to the instacart app and tried to get a refund. i chose instacart credit, figuring I could just use the credit to reorder the same food. The credit never showed and when I reached out to customer service, they sent me back to the app which is a dead end. If money is tight for you, be careful

I use Instacart every week, but there are two things I don't like. First, when I open the app, it should automatically open up my current cart. Right now I need to find the grocery store that I always use, then for the items. It seems unnecessary since I'd like it to be super fast to add ketchup to the cart, for example. Second, when there's an active shopper, my phone should keep me constantly updated at the top of my phone just like Uber Eats. That's why I prefer Uber Eats.

Beware! I have tried to reach support and work through ordering issues multiple times. Each time they have told me a different way that they cannot help me. They have told me they can link a new account but without my Instacart+ offers (which make restaurants affordable), that I can verify my number in a month after my subscription expires, and that, because I was able to place one order, I am not eligible for a refund. Run, fast and far.
