About this app

MetroPCS Voicemail keeps getting better and better! With Visual Voicemail you can listen to messages in any order, respond in one click, update your contacts, and easily manage your inbox without ever dialing into your voicemail.

No need to change your MetroPCS voicemail number or to reconfigure your voicemail forwarding - Visual Voicemail activates for free at first launch. You can also upgrade to Voicemail to Text for a small monthly fee and receive all your voicemails transcribed into text directly in the application inbox or via SMS message.

MetroPCS Visual Voicemail may use infrequent, free SMS messages to communicate with the Voicemail server.

An Unread Messages widget is now included with MetroPCS Visual Voicemail. On most Android devices you can add the Visual Voicemail widget by long pressing on any free space on your home screen, selecting 'Add Widgets', and choosing the Visual Voicemail widget from the alphabetical list.

Improving & actually works now. It's not flawless, but it's getting there. (I do however wish call forwarding was still included in plans without an up-charge. That wish doesn't actually apply to this app though.) I would prefer to be able to use Google Voice as my voicemail, without needing to paying extra. Voice just has a multitude of customizable features that go above and beyond what this app has or what I'd expect this app to have. As for expectations for this app, I don't have complaints.

Current Metro customer. The old Voicemail app was so much better before this TMO garbage was forced on us. With the old app you could "lock" a message to save/prevent it from being deleted. And their was a "Trash" feature where you could go and still look/retrieve messages within 30 days of deletion if needed. Now if you delete a message accidentally or by mistake on this app, it's gone forever in an instant.

Extremely unreliable. Even after rebooting, clearing cache, and turning off WiFi, the app often fails to refresh. As of now, it stopped working after the last update. Pretty worthless at the moment. If it remains useless, the rating will be dropped to one star.
