Wallet for root users Enable wallet for root users. Let's be real, the risk footprint is barely increased if at all. Make it opt in or something if necessary.
Wallet on root I don't understand why I'm not allowed to opt into allowing wallet on my phone just because it's rooted. I would understand if it was just disabled default but let me take make the decision.
**Update** *Edit 2* Works. Need to tap top edge of 6p. *Edit* Did the update yesterday. Cards now load fine. First time I tried to pay for something I got a Tap Not Supported error. When i called I was told the recent update had something to do with Facebook and that another update is coming on the 10th. Is that correct or should this be working now on my Nexus 6p? ** end edit ** Can't get the mobile wallet to work on Marshmallow. I've used it on the other android phones and love it. Is there a fix?
Slow Web Wrapper This isn't a native app so performance isn't great. Design wise it's a lack thereof. It can generally get your electronic backing done but for Canada's #1 bank, it certainly shows that they cheaped out on their mobile app.
Most of the app is slow, and quiet badly designed, but it works and displays the necessary information. Furthermore, why do I have to type in password every time. It would be better if there was an option to just use a PIN. RBC Wallet is really slow (it takes around 20-25 seconds to get it ready for payment; plus the UI itself is extremely slow). Why do I have to open the app to make payments? Why doesn't it work like Android Pay, where all I have to is tap my phone on the terminal while my phone is unlocked?
EDIT: although it took a while, the fix for Marshmallow 6.0 finally released, and fixed all the Wallet issues. As promised, 5 stars!
