Designed for enterprises that need to protect sensitive work data, Knox Separated Apps allows IT admins to separate third-party apps from corporate apps on fully managed devices.

How it works
- After an enterprise IT admin installs work apps on fully managed devices through a UEM, they can enable Separated Apps and select certain apps to install in the secure, separate area.
- By default, the following apps are available in the Separated Apps area.
.Google Chrome
.Microsoft Office (depending on the device model)
.Samsung Calendar
.Samsung Camera
.Samsung Gallery
.Samsung MyFiles
.Samsung Video

The following permissions are required for the app service. For optional
permissions, the default functionality of the service is turned on, but not allowed.

I am pretty sure this is what's also referred to as the Secure Folder on flagship phones or at least some part of it. It is indeed an important part of your phone. More cell phone companies should incorporate something similar to it, but then again this is one of the many things that sets Samsung apart from the rest which is why I have been and will continue to be a long time user of their products. Thank you, Samsung! P.s. Do your homework people before you rate something you don't comprehend.

I want this removed from my phone as I did not give any permissions for my phone to be controlled by an admin if I could give zero stars I would!! I need some one from this app to contact me now.... Unbelievable, this is completely an inappropriate app to not need some sort of verification before allowing on someone else's phone... SMH!!🤬🤬

Hi,good people hope you are all well. I don't know but I choose to not use most Samsung apps or products unless like have to, I prefer Google because I can still feel in charge of my phone. In fact I never use or update then. What I do is to force stop them. And closely monitor All software and system updates and updates,disable them. After that I constantly check each app. I remove any and all permissions and carefully check to make sure that I don't give ANY app the ability to make changes.
