Designed for enterprises that need to protect sensitive work data, Knox Separated Apps allows IT admins to separate third-party apps from corporate apps on fully managed devices.

How it works
- After an enterprise IT admin installs work apps on fully managed devices through a UEM, they can enable Separated Apps and select certain apps to install in the secure, separate area.
- By default, the following apps are available in the Separated Apps area.
.Google Chrome
.Microsoft Office (depending on the device model)
.Samsung Calendar
.Samsung Camera
.Samsung Gallery
.Samsung MyFiles
.Samsung Video

permissions, the default functionality of the service is turned on, but not allowed.

If you want results on issues like this, get the media involved. Start with local news outlets if you have to. Like most people on here, I stumbled on this while performing updates to my Galaxy S23 Ultra. This isn't something I was ever notified about and as soon as I saw it on the update list, I stopped it and unchecked the box for automatic updates for it. Seriously... someone needs to get media involved....

Let me understand this better, could a person use this that has had your phone before? I guess I'm just wondering why this is something AUTOMATIC to have, specifically for only one of my Google profiles but not on the other 2. Also, it's not the profile that runs my phone. It's odd that someone else can have control of your things without you knowing it. Then, they can change the name to ANYTHING they want so, it can look like something different.🤔

Once again more space on my phone being overtaken by something I did not download myself due to the fact I would have no need for such an app. And how convenient that no one responds to any of the comments being left, I dare say they don't even read them or maybe they'd realise how much they continue to peeve people off with apps we never asked for! 'The customer is always right'... as the saying goes. So maybe you should start listening to your customers before you have none left!!
