I lost my original right hearing aid so I had the new Right one paired to my old left one and both are working fine. HOWEVER, the old app was "improved" during the time I was waiting on the new hearing aid. Whatever the "improvements" were messed things up. Now I don't have the control I had with the older version app. I can't make individual Edge settings for TV, etc. I have to take what they said was best. This new "improvement" was anything but that. Please go back to the older app version.

Thank you for the feedback. There shouldn't be anything the old app could do that you cannot do with the new app. Please alert your Hearing Professional about the problem.

App drops the hearing aids without notice. Neither Android nor Apple are better. This app stops at the drop of a hat, then you have to force stop & restart. This happens at the very least 3 to 4 times daily. Frustrating is not even close. I have only had these hearing aids for two months & I have called the techs & they are unable to resolve the problem. I'm thankful that I have the insurance to assist with the cost & even then my share was well over $2700.00. Get a good program writer.

I'm sorry for the experience. The app relies on the Bluetooth connection to the phone. The 2.4GHz signal can be impacted by distance and other signals in the area. Please email us the app with the time the disconnection occurred. We might be able to offer recommendations based on what we find.

Update: they have commented on how it's the phone's Bluetooth. It's odd that the countless amount of Bluetooth devices have no issue maintaining a stable connection. I wear a pair of Bluetooth headphones when I walk outside because the hearing aids can't handle being in my pocket. I didn't understand how bad this app is. Will randomly lose connection to phone. Bluetooth is so unreliable. These cost so much money and the app makes them so much worse.

I'm sorry for the experience. The app depends on the Bluetooth of the phone to maintain the connect to the hearing aids. If the phone is unable to keep the connection the app will not find the hearing aid(s). If you are able to reconnect to the hearing aids but toggling Bluetooth, or Airplane mode, I would say investigate the phone's Bluetooth.
