so it actually worked for me once I was on the phone with a T-Mobile tech rep. I got off Wi-Fi and pressed "temporary unlock" and it worked. my phone is unfortunately not eligible for permanent unlock yet, as T-Mobile has me locked into a 24 month contract to pay off the phone with promotional credits (long story), so I can't utilize that yet, but I'd recommend others try this AFTER turning Wi-Fi off, it seems to actually work. 🤷🏼‍♀️

It doesn't work. The page just says "uh oh you ran into server issues" no matter what and with zero information on what that means or what to change. I've tried turning on and off, being connected and not connected to Wi-Fi, etc. Totally worthless app.

Junk app, it does not work at all. It always gives an error code 995 (no network connection) though I connected via LTE network and I was able to browse all possible websites. Waste of time for customer and customer service. This app is going to drive the customer away from T-Mobile (btw, I have been th customer with T-Mobile for 10+ years).
