Ratings and reviews

App is faulty. I can't plan a trip from a future destination, everytime I try to select a start destination that isn't my current gps location the app crashes and says something went wrong. And it just replaces my desired starting point with my current location. So for example if I'm on a bus on the way to a movie theatre and want to plan an uber trip back from the theatre later, I can't, because the app keeps crashing and reverting back to my current t location. Super frustrating.

Uber Pool is a joke. It no longer saves you money (usually $1 at most) and increases your travel time unreasonably. The fares are on par with a regular cab now. Perhaps even higher since there are additional fees when your card is charged that are not shown when booking in the app. I often cancel due to the wait time being too long (ETA is often twice what's listed) yet the next time I book the app gives me a driver that is even further away and charges you a $4 fee to cancel the second time.

2024 edit. This app and service has drastically gone down hill, 0 customer support and only an automated service, if your request doesn't match too bad. And why even bother showing me the cars that are 2 minutes away when all I'm going to get access to are the ones 15+ minutes away? Long gone are the days when uber was more convenient and cheaper then a taxi.
