You will find StadtRAD stations throughout Hamburg where you can hire and return bikes. In almost all tariffs, the first 30 minutes per journey are free of charge. You can also hire cargo pedelecs at selected stations - perfect for big shopping trips and your children!

Doesn't work. Registration SMS never arrives from app or website. There's a complaint from a week ago, but still hasn't been fixed. I've used bike share in Lille, Berlin, Manchester, Seville and this is the only one that just doesn't work at all.

Worst app. They create your login but never deliver the confirmation message. Several international cards not accepted. Trash.

Love the service and have used it since day 1. The app is useable and mostly gets the job done. A few updates that made the app less user-friendly: Unlocking code is harder to find. It was originally in the current rental home screen. The app now only works for Hamburg city - not even for the metropolitan region! Now you need two apps for Hamburg and Lüneburg, for example.

We have improved the following for you:
- You can see current journeys on the lock screen and start a break directly, for example. We will ask for your consent to do this on your next ride.
- If you select a bike from the station view, you have to scan the QR code on the bike. This ensures that you are actually standing at the right bike.
- Bug fixes and stability improvements
