Alabama Blue allows Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama members to access their health plan information on the go.

Register or log in to:
• Check your claims and benefits
• View or email your ID card
• Track your deductible and out-of-pocket spend
• Find a doctor in your network
• Communicate securely with Customer Service

Use your myBlueCross username and password to access your online account from the app. You can also set up Touch or Face ID for quicker access.

There is no charge from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama to download, but rates from your wireless provider may apply. Update 8/15/2025: The app not longer allows claim statements to be downloaded or printed. This makes submitting them for reimbursement exceedingly difficult. Will not allow filing of claims. Gives multiple error messages when attempting to submit. The purpose of an app is to make life easier. This one clearly fails in that aspect

The app is not laid out as it needs to be. example, I get a email saying I have a new message about my health. You go to the app and have to dig around to try to find the message they are talking about. just make it a little more intuitive and easy to just find what you want. Thanks

This app is not user friendly. While trying to view vision providers, you are unable to view eyeglass frames the provider offers because a pop-up blocks the page and does not offer a way to close it. It is as if this app was created and not tested.
