It's not what I thought it was, but that's on me. I originally subscribed for the 2tb storage, thinking i could back up all of my devices, including my PC. Unfortunately, unless I overlooked something, you can only use it to back up your android devices; phone, tablet, chromebook, etc. The app otherwise works exactly how it's supposed to do, I just can't fathom needing all that extra storage for just my phone.

I've had this about a year. The description reads: "Automatically back up the important things on your phone, like photos, contacts and messages... notice it says "like." Now I personally regard my calendar as an important thing. I accidentally deleted my calendar on another device. had a rude awakening that the backup DID NOT include calendar nor does it have the capacity to include the calendar. in fact you need a non Google app in order to be able to import and export a calendar back up.

Supposedly you use this app to manage and purchase AI credits, according to every Google help article I read, but this app does not have that functionality. + I already have a plan with a 1000 credit/month allowance, but it isn't hard to burn through those. Google help articles suggest that I can simply buy more credits via Google One. That is factually incorrect. The only other option is to spend hundreds of dollars per month for the 25k credit plan, so it's pretty obvious what Google is doing
