Ever since they changed to the new style of meet calls, I can't make outgoing calls, but incoming calls work fine. I can clear app data and cache and get the old one back for one call and that still works. Whatever they did to meet, it's not working for me. A video calling app that doesn't make calls is pretty useless. Edit: the supplied help article isn't relevant to my issue, and I've been trying to get help from the help and feedback forum, they've tried to help but not working yet.

this "upgrade" is anything but. i cant make or complete calls( either i get an error saying the person unavailable, or it just rings - come to find out the other party isn't even notified of the call), the effect filters and backgrounds have been removed, no more video messaging (text or video) and (going back to point 1) calls are not notifying to the caller. if it wasn't for the fact that have the calls tied to my nest mini i wouldn't even know i was getting a call. take us back to DUO

Completely broken. After months of missing calls (no ringing), the app no longer functions at all for video or voice calls. When calling people with the app, it says I am calling someone who can't receive calls. Tried reinstalling, clearing cache, and restarting my phone and all have failed. I never leave reviews but this is horrible. Bring back Duo and separate it from Meet. If I could give zero stars I would. Time to use an alternative app
