Horrible setup utility. Still takes over TEN attempts for setup? It has been years! No attempt to improve at all sucks. Update: Nevermind this is unusable. Been trying to connect for an hour now and the app cannot communicate with my Chromecast. I don't think they care because they want us to buy newer versions but I'm just going to switch to a fire stick.

You used to be able to connect a Chromecast on a browser, through your phone OR your computer. Now google forces you to download TWO apps, yes TWO to even SET UP their products. And one of the apps is super intrusive, requiring a lot of your information and reconfiguring your phone. On top of all that, it never works the first try, and makes the user do all the legwork. This app is actually useless.

This app does not natively support older Chromecasts (audios in my case). This utility REQUIRES you to disable wifi to even begin the search for a new device. But CCA's and older Chromecasts do not have BT, they require WIFI. So after you begin searching for the device (having disabled wifi) you have to go in the background and re-enable it. Then the CCA will be discovered, and activated. After that, you are presented with a button to proceed back to the Home app, and the setup finished.
