I love that this app keeps my head on straight most days. Lately, though, it's been freezing up on me and not working properly. As of right now, my calendar still says it's August 22nd (that was the last day it worked. Today is 8/27). I can't select tomorrow or scroll to next month to see what plans I have. The only way I've found to get it working right is to restart my phone, but I don't like doing that often.

Hi Amy. Let's try clearing the cache of the Calendar app: Open Phone settings - Select Apps or App & notifications - Choose Google Calendar - Tap Storage - Clear cache - OK. For further help, please create a new thread in our product forum for our community of experts to review: https://goo.gle/2QnxTMN. Thanks.

I could do without the woke nonsensical 'holidays' and 'celebratory month' information on your calendar, yet still have traditional non-woke holidays detailed, but you lump them all together, on the options. Your apps are clunky and poorly developed. The 'phone' app doesn't allow me to answer sometimes due to a bug issue, nothing appears on screen to answer the call. Waiting for an alternative to your system and the big tech stranglehold you and that rotten piece of fruit represent.

Notifications at time of event no longer work for events with no length. This was already just a hack to get around the absolute failure that is Tasks, but now I guess I'll have to remember that arbitrarily set my event length to 1 minute to get any to-do list style notifications at all. Seems like Google products are past their peak and now are just getting actively worse with each update.
