About this app

The Google One app lets you automatically back up your phone and manage your Google cloud storage.
• Automatically back up the important things on your phone, like photos, contacts and messages using your 15 GB of storage that comes with every Google account. If you break, lose or upgrade your phone, you can restore everything to your new Android device.
• Manage your existing Google account storage across Google Drive, Gmail and Google Photos.

Upgrade to a Google One membership to get even more:
• Get as much storage as you need for your important memories, projects and digital files. Choose the plan that works best for you.
• Share your storage with up to 5 additional people. This gives each person access to more storage from your plan, but not access to each other’s files.

This app is great, but I do have problems and suggestions with it. For example, using the backup feature rarely workz And also on the website version of the app, it's actually impossible to use the backup feature, and it doesn't seem to be a upgrade problem either. Also I would like to be we to search for specific files from a older device, like a power washer device, as it seems to save data from them

Hi, Johnathan. Have you tried the steps at goo.gle/2OymEAA already?

Decent price for the features. I read they are removing the VPN from the service, though, so that's why there's 3 stars. I like the ability to share my extra data with 5 other family members. Microsoft's cloud storage is half the cost, and if they remove the VPN, then I dunno what I'll really even need this for anymore. No point in paying twice the price as Microsoft's cloud storage at that point.

I hate how awful this app is. It fails to load files, it fails to load videos and pictures, it freezes and crashes when deleting anymore than a handful of size regardless of size. Internet, as of Google's reply, is 350 Mb/s (not Mbps), I've cleared cache, uninstalled and redownloaded. The only fix I've found is to cancel my Google one and uninstall. I work in IT, I've turned it off and on again.

Hello Anakin. Check your internet connection and make sure you have updated the app to the most recent version. If that doesn't work, try clearing the app’s cache and storage: Device settings > Applications > "App name" > Storage > Clear cache. We hope that helped.
