The app ended up being pretty easy to use. It can still be a little awkward and slow to react. And it takes a little getting used to for knowing what's downloaded and where you are in some of the books, but for simple reading it works just fine. I set aside some time to configure book displays like I wanted (or as close as possible) and now it's good.

I am a frequent audiobook user and have been using this app for over 5 years. Other than many of the audiobooks switching to AI narration, I have still enjoyed using it. However, today I updated the app and no longer am able to read descriptions about books I am thinking of purchasing. Also, the features for similar book recommendations and more by this author have completely vanished. I rely on all three of the features when deciding which book to purchase. Not likely to purchase now.

Google Play Books to me, is a great digital book, library edition for any reader on any device. Its interface is easy to understand. However, it can be challenging for some who may suffer from certain brain conditions. The outside looks have a brand emblem that's crisp in colors. Now, I have to be candid, but I have bought some of my fav authors' books, samples, etc. But honestly, I don't like to read and I'm a writer, published. Yikes, I said that out loud! 🙊 Great Book Library, Google. 💯
