unimpressed with the fact that they have an issue of people not being able to sign in that's so wide spread that even the technicians know about it. luckily i was able to find a solution, in addition to clearing the cache of any other rogers apps, also clear the cash of whatever your default browser app is. on the first attempted sign in it uses your default browser so you need to clear the cache to reset the sign in. this worked for me and once you're able to get in, the app itself is decent.

Their incompetent router forced me to use this app to do port forwarding (they have removed it from the router's webpage). Port forwarding is hidden under the most convoluted path on this app. I guess they really don't want you to be using basic features on your own devices. Completely anti-consumer.

UPDATE: So I found a response offered to someone else with the same problem. It turns out that there are TWO apps - one for Western Canada and one for Eastern Canada. I had the wrong one. Why isn't this explained in the store and the login page? So, you haven't heard of pre-release testing at all? I downloaded it because I wanted to troubleshoot some issues with my home wifi and I was hoping it was updated. Nope. It definitely loops the login sequence. Over and over and over. Literally useless.
