I have loved and used Google translate for years, but it has changed and I don't know how to change it back. there had been too small boxes, the top one for the language you speak in the bottom one the translation in whatever language you had asked for. now my Google translate is one long box and it is very user unfriendly. When I try to get it to simply speak what I had written, it pops up with 3 boxes with three different choices. I've hit the pronounce button numerous times, nothing happens.

For a large company that employs UX designers at some of the highest pay rates in the industry, it's unacceptable that the designers behind this app have overlooked very simple features like being able to add line breaks to text. It handles line breaks fine when copy/pasting blocks, but there's no way to add line breaks by holding the "Enter" or "Return" key, as it is labeled "Go" similarly to typing a URL in a mobile browser. This issue could be fixed very easily. No excuse.

used this app for decades. always loved it. now I feel like I can contribute back. what I always did was backwards translate manually, English gets clunky when you replace all the words and it's embarrassing if you don't. there should be a 3rd panel added on the interface that shows you what you want to say if it's backwards translated preemptively it would streamline usage, put less strain on your servers, even more perfect if you can involve gemini in the mix.
