What a rollercoaster! After working perfectly for years, it stopped. I'm now presuming it was due to an old phone at end of software support. Last week I upgraded to Pixel 8 Pro, and it's magically back to normal again - as it should be. All bank and loyalty cards are present and working. This is an app that you never really think about until it's not working as intended. Apparently I've now got 7 years up my sleeve before I have to work about it again! 😅

After the update early 2024, the contactless payment has become very annoying to use. They sight that is become "more secure", but would be nice to have setting to change verification. To be clear, the contactless payment ask you to verify its you with a pin/pattern for purchases (even under $5) when the phone has just been unlocked and the wallet app is open and the card is selected. Not very user-friendly as the receiving eftpos machine can glitches and needs to be reset by staff.

Like others have been saying... temperamental at first but now it's not working. Not at all. Followed settings and checks on help menu. All correct but still won't work. Edit in response to reply: App simply doesn't work. I hold my phone to any pay point and nothing happens. NFC is on and the setup check list is complete with all requirements ticked. It was working last week. Now nothing
