I've had this about a year. The description reads: "Automatically back up the important things on your phone, like photos, contacts and messages... notice it says "like." Now I personally regard my calendar as an important thing. I accidentally deleted my calendar on another device. had a rude awakening that the backup DID NOT include calendar nor does it have the capacity to include the calendar. in fact you need a non Google app in order to be able to import and export a calendar back up.

forcibly moved onto an AI based service, I dont want AI up in all my business, I don't use AI credits, and I'm extremely against this cost inflation and sales tactics used to make it feel like a non-ai product will deny you access to your emails. I had to reread the terms a few of times as at a first glance the original product seemed to deny access to all Google services. sneaky wording! Really unimpressed, I don't want to be paying for AI I'm never going to use that was trained on stolen data

Hi Tim, the Google One app shouldn't affect that. If you're a Google One member, try reaching out to a Google expert for more help through the support tab in the app or at one.google.com. Hope this gets resolved.

lnitially I was very happy (honeymoon phase). Now, about 35 to 40% of the files I try to access I get 1 of 2 errors... It can't be played by Google One, or the file/folder is empty. How can that be...when your program tells me I have almost a 1TB of info, in the Cloud. what few shadow files/folders I have are full. I plan to relocate everything onuo External hard drives by the end of the year. OneDrive isn't doing much better.
