I've had this about a year. The description reads: "Automatically back up the important things on your phone, like photos, contacts and messages... notice it says "like." Now I personally regard my calendar as an important thing. I accidentally deleted my calendar on another device. had a rude awakening that the backup DID NOT include calendar nor does it have the capacity to include the calendar. in fact you need a non Google app in order to be able to import and export a calendar back up.

I was running out of storage space and received a prompt in Google photos to get more storage using this app. I purchased what I thought was a year's worth of storage for 70+ dollars, but no additional storage came with the app. It then tried to get me to upgrade and pay $100 MORE for possibly non-existent photo storage. This is scammy, and the app is otherwise useless. I'm trying to get my money back. I'll remove this review if I do.

Google One is pretty great when you use it but OMG it's annoying to use on phone when you want to delete pictures and videos if you're over the storage limit. it gets very slow when you're over 50 photos. you can't delete more than 500 at the same time. it doesn't automatically delete 500 and if you manually select more it only tells you after you try to delete that you can't. after each delete you're moved to another page so you can't easily mass delete. No good way to filter stuff either.
