Don't let Google Play Services for AR fool you. While it may seem harmless, this app is often bundled and turned into a carrier app. AT&T, when not losing your data in a massive breach, spends their time on these hidden apps to secretly track your online activity and collect sensitive data. Protect your privacy by avoiding this app unless you're absolutely sure it's from the official Google Play Store and has no carrier-related modifications. Your online safety is worth protecting.

This app is excluded from the built in googleVPN on my pixel because it says it's a carrier app. Is AT&T in charge of creating Google play services apps? I disabled it but I'm disappointed that one of the first things I had to do after purchasing the new Google Pixel was disable a shady system app.

Viewing critical reviews seems like Google doesn't care about the humans. This app feeds information to Google Play Store and other Google applications. No wonder why some apps are not working properly if you UNINSTALL it. Bad Google very bad. Perhaps your behavior needs an adjustment like a Terminator movie. Hasta lavista baby!
