Update: Did you read the issue? I'm not having issues with data being used. I have an issue with the screen not turning off at all when the jio tv is open and not playing a video. Other apps like youtube let your screen timeout when not actively playing a video. Doesn't turn off my display when I pause playback. It will be on until the battery runs out. Can you turn off the display when a video is paused and not playing?

Worst experience. Just because this app is a monopoly, its not easy to use. It's very difficult to keep watching a particular show at a time. Because I don't know whenever I click on screen by mistake or unknowingly, it switches channels. Then when i try to get back to the channel, it again shows ad for 20 seconds. So it has wasted my 20 seconds of watching the live show. And it's difficult to go 20 seconds back because the app doesn't cooperate at all

I've been trying to watch a show on a channel for 10 min now. Haven't been able to access the live part yet. Every time I click on it, an ad pops up. After completion of the ad it shows you content which was running 4-5 hours ago and when you click on Go Live button, there's an ad again. After you finish watching the ad, it again goes back to the past program which was shown in the first place. And the cycle continues. Such a useless app.
