The experience has changed in the past year, and is great. I love android auto and the benefit it offers drivers. I wish they would let you report crashes, speed traps, construction, etc from the screen. It's safer there than from on your phone anyway. I wish they would provide the same version to different models of Galaxy. I have an ultra, and I can do the split screen, but wife has a regular size galaxy, but she can't do the split screen.

The app allows a near seamless connection between my car and my phone. My one complaint is that I can't manually adjust the volume level of audio from my phone to match radio audio. So, if I don't turn the volume down before switching from Spotify to terrestrial or satellite radio, I get a pretty big jump scare... Not very conducive to a safe driving environment. Otherwise, the app is great.

It's great when it works. But it disconnects randomly and often. For no reason. Different cords. Firmly seated. And it always seems to disconnect when I'm at a crucial spot in my driving directions. Very frustrating. I've tried turning off wifi and Bluetooth. No real improvement. If connectivity is ever fixed it will be an awesome feature.
