About this app

The Honeywell Total Connect Comfort app allows users to remotely monitor and manage their heating and cooling system – at anytime, from anywhere. Honeywell’s Total Connect Comfort works with Honeywell Wi-Fi Thermostats and with Prestige®, Prestige® IAQ, Wireless FocusPRO® and EConnect™ Comfort Systems when used in conjunction with Honeywell’s Internet Gateway.

With the Honeywell Total Connect Comfort app users can:

View and change the schedule (for thermostats that support this feature)
Utilize the Demo Mode before purchasing a thermostat
View and change heating and cooling system settings
View and set the indoor temperature
View and change system fan (for thermostats that support this feature)
View and change humidifier and dehumidifier settings (for thermostats that support this feature)
View 5-Day weather forecast
View outdoor temperature and humidity (when used with an outdoor sensor)
Access multiple smart thermostats
Access multiple locations if more than one system is registered
View thermostat alerts such as high or low temperature
Automatically upgrade to new features once they become available

Ratings and reviews

Was easy to set up with my thermostat, and I love that you can update everything through this app. There is about a 30-second delay between what you update on the app and when it takes effect on the thermostat screen, but that's not a huge problem. I'd give the thermostat a lower rating because the touch screen is so underwhelmingly responsive, but my one gripe about the app is the pop-up ads reminding me I could save 2 pennies be letting my electric company control my temps. No thanks! 😆

UPDATE: Connects easily to my Google Home app now, where I can set up routines in a way that's more customizable. Still an ugly app, but I am happy now! BEFORE: Ugliest app I've ever seen in my life. Very dated. Can't connect to Amazon Alexa (even though their website claims it can, it won't). But it does change the settings on my thermostat. With my Nest, I could schedule my thermostat to turn the AC on and off. Wish that was an option.

It is a little difficult to configure WiFi. Once connected, the application works fluently and is easy to set. Would be good to have locked options to avoid moving settings on screen (for kids). Connecting with Alexa or Google doesn't work automatically. I had to learn and read more instructions and do some research to add it up to my Google Play network...
