Love Sheets on desktop—prefer it to Excel. But the app is lacking. You can't bulk add rows, you can't choose multiple drop-down chip options even when that's set up, and trying to nav frozen columns is a pain. I have to remember to finish workflows later on desktop. I can see from forums that the drop-down issue has been around for years, which makes me think Google isn't attentive enough to this app. Overall, the app is underdeveloped and has needless pain points.

It works just fine, but I give it 3 stars because it lacks a lot of the capabilities of the desktop browser version. Edit: For example, if I'm writing an xlookup, on desktop, it will auto-suggest a table name and table column names (ie, Table1[Income])as I start typing it, and I can just select the one I want from the list of suggestions. On the mobile version, I have to just type out the full table name and column name. It would be very helpful to have those suggestions on mobile, too.

This app is a great way to make grocery lists, notes, and receipts, that can withstand the breaking of your phone. When I buy a new phone and log in all the paperwork is already there. You can also use your computer and phone to make notes and receipts across many devices. Other apps a broken phone or computer deleted everything.
