Ratings and reviews

I don't know what happened with recent updates, but the core experience is broken. Shorts skip to the next video automatically while I’m still watching, which is incredibly disruptive. Even worse, long-form videos suffer from micro-pauses and a "green screen" flickering glitch—reminiscent of a corrupted 70mm film reel. For a video platform, these aren't just bugs; they’re fundamental failures. Please fix.

when I watch a video I can't rotate my phone sideways to get a bigger video. If I rotate my phone to watch a video it rotates the video in such a way that I can only see a small portion of the video on the bottom left side of my phone. Also, in this moment the video freezes and/or the touch function becomes unusable. Mostly it just freezes until I force close the app and reopen. Tried deleting/reinstalling, restarting and throwing my phone to the ground. Please help!! Send me a bug fix YouTube!

YouTube app is easily breaking. Each time there's an ad, it breaks the video, causing the sound to continue playing while visuals are gone, the word "Sponsored" from an ad is still there. Skippable ads are sometimes breaking to no longer being skippable, but also skip button is still there after ad ends, which breaks the video after clicking it. The ad overlay is still there, unable to get rid of unless I reopen the app/video. Absolute torture to use this app.
