Ratings and reviews

The lists are the single most useful feature in this app, but they sadly still need a lot of work, such as allowing the customization of place icons for each list, so that they don't all appear indistinguishable from each other when viewing a certain region! In addition, the Public Transit layer doesn't show any railway tracks, which significantly reduces its utility. EDIT: lists have meanwhile massively improved and Google maps is a more essential app than ever

Surprisingly unstable application. Guidance quality is degrading fast (got extremely bad during the last couple of years). Maps are full of fake places and wrong/misleading information. Google declines to clean the mess up and punishes users who try to improve maps instead. Traffic data is really frustrating - many times I was driving full speed in areas marked as "stopped" and was standing in dead traffic jams having "green" lanes on the map. I'm looking for an alternative.

I actually prefer using this app rather than waze, tbh but for the past few months, the app keeps freezing on me when I have reached my destination or tried to use it while it's navigating.. I then have to close the whole app and re-open it again, starting from scratch while driving... It's so annoying. Please can we fix this glitch... there have been many updates but not one to fix this problem... I know it can't just be my phone. 🤔🤷🏽‍♀️
